How to prevent Gout Pain?

The best natural remedies for gout are those that your grandmother used. These are tried and true home remedies that work quickly and have no side effects. Unfortunately, a lot of that wisdom has been lost. Modern medicine doesn’t like competition so they try to make it seem as though there is another way to treat all illnesses. Gout treatments have been a part of a remarkable return to natural medicine in recent years.

Take Note

  • Ice is great for relieving pain and decreasing inflammation. Apply it to inflamed joints for 15 minutes.
  • Pain medication – Personally, I don’t like mixing natural medicine and otc medicines. However, sometimes a small amount of ibuprofen may be necessary to relieve intense pain.
  • Exercise – This might not be possible without ibuprofen, so this is another reason to use it. You should exercise at least twice a day to allow your joints to move freely. Regular exercise is a great way to strengthen your joints and muscles, and it can also improve your overall health.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar is a natural miracle cure. It will not only help with gout/arthritis, but also other health issues. 2 Tablespoons of pure organic apple cider vinegar twice daily. If it is too thick to swallow, add some water or honey.
  • Strawberries are my favorite medicine. I love to eat fresh strawberries. Strawberries are a natural remedy for gout, especially if you want to prevent it.
  • Cherries – Another great tasting medicine. Eat them raw and drink cherry juice. Both work wonders to relieve gout.
  • Gout relief can also be provided by nuts and seeds.
  • Water – Drink lots of water to reduce your body’s uric acid levels and get rid of harmful toxins.
  • Pay attention to what you eat. For example, eat more fruits and veggies.
  • Epsom Salt – add two cups to a bath and soak for 15-30 minutes in warm water.
